With Volleyball season right round the corner, it is no surprise that many people want their kids to join a Volleyball Club and enroll in volleyball camps that will ensure that the kids have a wonderful time playing the game they love. However, choosing the right Volleyball Camp can be an important decision. While you may think that all Volleyball camps are pretty much the same, this isn’t true. A good camp will not only have an excellent Volleyball Court to fit several players at a time, it will also have facilities for both indoor volleyball and outdoor volleyball.
The Volleyball Court dimensions for both indoor volleyball and outdoor volleyball differ a lot. A good camp will offer your kid the opportunity to play both games and provide both courts. However, if your child is preparing to play Volleyball seriously, keep in mind that you choose a camp where the Volleyball Court dimensions for competitive volleyball are strictly followed. The Volleyball Court dimensions for indoor volleyball are 18 meters by 9 meters. The court is divided in two by a high net. The beach Volleyball Court or outdoor court is 16 meters by 8 meters. All lines on the Volleyball Court are 2” wide and the court has 2 sidelines and 2 end lines that define the Playing area. Other lines are marked within the space.
